Best known as the star of various children's films, this lean and athletic breed of dog has a history that goes back several hundred years. He began as a coach dog, but has also served in many other capacities, including hunter, firefighter's dog and circus performer. As charming in life as he is in movies, he goes from gallant to silly to gallant in no time at all and loves to be part of everything his family does.
